PARENTAL RIGHTS CASES

A parental rights case is opened when the two parents cannot agree on who will take care of the child, how the contacts with the other parent will be arranged and what alimony support will be paid for the child .

• If you want to apply for parental responsibility:
• You will receive legal advice from our lawyer regarding the protection of your interests and those of your child;
• We will notify you of all the evidence you have to present;
• We will draw up a Statement of claim and prepare all the necessary documents;
• We will file the claim in the competent court;
• We will defend your interests before the court in the court proceedings and/or in the out-of-court settlement of your case.
• If a claim for parental responsibility has been filed against you:
• You will receive legal advice from our lawyer regarding the protection of your interests and those of your child;
• We will notify you of any evidence you have to provide in order to protect your interests;
• We will draw up a response to the request and we will prepare all the necessary documents;
• We will defend your interests before the court in the court proceedings and/or in the out-of-court settlement of your case.

State fee:

• The state fee for initiating a case for parental responsibility is due to the court and is between 30 BGN and 80 BGN, according to the State fees tariff.

Attorney’s fee:

According to Ordinance №1 of 9 July 2004 on the minimum amount of Attorney’s fee.
