NAME CHANGE

The law allows a person to file a name change case when the name/names (given, middle, family names): Make fun of a person; Disgrace the person; Are socially unacceptable; Are incompatible

The law provides for the possibility for a person to file a name change case when the name/names (given, middle, family names):

• Make fun of a person;
• Disgrace the person;
• Are socially unacceptable;
• Are incompatible with the national honour of the Bulgarian people;
• If the name creates serious difficulties for that person, in respect of his identification.
